ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Gerry and I've worked in the paint trade for over 30 years.

I started in 1986, employed in a small independent decorators merchants called Rainbow Paints, we ran from a double garage and a desk in another companies office.

In 1988 I was asked to take over the running of the business and was involved in the expanding of the company to three stores around the area.

In 1999 Rainbow Paints was acquired by C.Brewers & Sons Ltd the largest independent decorators centres in Europe with over 200 branches and I became part of their team and have been ever since.

In these 36 years I have seen many changes, from the demise of lead based paints right at the beginning, to the advances in water based paint technology happening presently.

So this new venture is a bit like stepping back to 1986 for me, a garage with lots of premixed paint in it.

I hope that this idea will help people to use top quality trade paints at a fraction of their normal cost and save a lot of perfectly serviceable product going to landfill for no good reason.
